It is more than a decade that NATO forces are in Afghanistan and during this time every members of NATO has a role in Afghanistan. Britain and U.S.A. again were cooperating in Afghanistan war. Participation of U.K. with U.S.A. in security – defense affairs as a special relationship, can be analyzed in different aspects of Afghanistan war. This article by reviewing cooperation of U.K and U.S. in military- security operations in Afghanistan describes the situation of U.K. relation with U.S. after 9/11 and explains their failure in promoting war goals and defeating the Taliban.
