Abstract Islamic world, today is under the consecutive crisis such as religious terrorism, takfir thoughts and military occupation, which shows a decline in social and political life of Muslims. This decline is reflected in theoretical aspects of security, which needs juridical reflection on security and production of Islamic security knowledge based on Shiite Jurisprudence. This article tries to infer juridical principles of security from adjacent verdicts on cultural security, to provide a proper context to develop “jurisprudence of cultural security” under the Islamic security studies framework
