Abstract: despite a good background and different school of thoughts in security studies and in spite of original and pure ideas in Islamic literature, unfortunately three decades after Islamic revolution there is a little research on security theorization based on Imam Khomeini's thoughts. This article tries to search Imam Khomeini's thoughts, using definitions and conceptualization of security in Islam. Imam's theory of security unlike other theories and schools is an integrated complex which is contrary to linear positivist approach. This theory conceptualizes security as a fluid and sometimes hard and resistant package. Differences between imam's theory and other schools, is based on their different source of security.
