Electoral geography as a branch of political geography studies spatial patterns of power distribution in the framework of interrelated relations among geography (space), elections and power. Data and findings related to the elections show that various factors have played a role in people’s preferences affecting spatial distribution of presence in presidential elections. The eleventh presidential elections in Iran showed that victory of the moderation discourse against the fundamentalism discourse is a balance between different environmental (temporal and spatial) factors. It is also a kind of unified positive reaction toward a discourse that dominates the political culture and accordingly the political system of the country every eight year.
