Abstract This Article tries to propose a model of strategic analysis based on supreme Leader’s thought. Author argues that in Supreme leader’s thought, strategic analysis is faced with three categories including: strategic goals, strategic explanation of social facts and strategic thinking. So the analyst first needs to know strategic goals of political system(desired situation), then to explain strategic social facts( current situation), and at last to design a way to move from current situation to desired situation using strategic thought. In Supreme leader’s thought, strategic goals of I.R. of Iran are independence, freedom, justice and spirituality. The social facts of Iran, also are composed of strategic material tool, strategic spiritual tool and strategic obstacles (such as the domestic tyranny and existence of enemy front).

Abstract Islamic world, today is under the consecutive crisis such as religious terrorism, takfir thoughts and military occupation, which shows a decline in social and political life of Muslims. Abstract Good Governance is the effective and accountable exercise of administrative, economic and political power. According to conditions of every society, Indices of good governance have different weights. This article is a descriptive survey and is to weight coefficients of indices of god governance in Iran and to distinguish causal relations between indices. The findings show that accountability, the right to comment and social justice have high weights. Meanwhile, the quality of rules, rule of law and the right of comment has the most impacts on other indices.

Abstract The Canadian Consortium on human security in 2007 has defined human security as a people-Centered approach to foreign policy, which argues that sustainable stability is based on protecting people from dangers against their rights, health and life. Human security contrary to national security considers threats against citizens and doesn’t limit security studies to defend the territorial boundaries. In comprehensive defense approach, besides considering military aspects of countering threats, we must consider threats against human security. This article using comprehensive defense approach, tries to distinguish threats against national security emerging from human security domain, then to analyze their effects on national security and at last to propose the ways to counter these threats.

Abstract This article examines efficiency of Intuitive Multi-Faceted Decision making Model focusing on sanctions of 1929 resolution of Security Council and the 9th and 10th government’s approach on nuclear program. Article 9 of resolution 1929 directly points to missile power of Iran, which has no record in previous resolutions. Author argues that Intuitive Multi-Faceted Decision making Model contrary to other conventional models based on rational actor is more compatible with multi-stage process of Iranian foreign policy.

Abstract There is no universal binding treaty on prohibition of attack or threat to military attack, although there is some international attempts in action. This article by referring to international documents and international procedures, tries to explain and describe this prohibition and insufficiency of international law in this regard. Author critically reviews legal principles of attack or threat to attack against nuclear installation under the theory of pre-emptive self-defense and analyses paradox of  this theory with principles of international law.
