چکیده

امروزه یکی از مهیج‌ترین اخبار و تحلیل‌های رسانه‌ها و مطبوعات، مربوط به اقدامات گروه‌های تروریستی است و این موارد، سطح قابل توجهی از پوشش‌های خبری را به خود اختصاص داده‌اند. در واقع، تروریسم و رسانه رابطه‌ای متقابل دارند. هدف تروریسم گسترش فضای وحشت و ترس و بی‌اعتمادی به نهادهای دولتی در جامعه است و نیل به این هدف، بدون پوشش رسانه‌ای و تأثیر گستردة آن بر افکار عمومی ممکن نیست. بر این اساس، مقاله حاضر سعی دارد با کاربست روش تجربی به بررسی آمارهای ارائه‌شده توسط مؤسسات افکارسنجی عمومی و همچنین تحلیل تأثیر اقدامات تروریستی بر جامعة آمریکا از دو بعد رسانه و افکار عمومی بپردازد. در واقع رسانه‌ها در ایجاد نظم گفتمانی به ویژه در دوره‌های بحران، نقشی فزاینده دارند.بنابراین دولت ایالات متحده نیز پس از 11 سپتامبر با تأکید بر رهیافت هژمونیک در مدیریت اطلاعات، از دسترسی آزاد شهروندان به جریان اطلاعات جلوگیری کرده و سعی در سانسور یا ایجاد پوشش‌های خبری برای جلب رضایت عمومی از تصمیمات حومتی دارد.

One of the exciting subjects and discussions that are in the news is related to what the terrorist groups do act. As a matter of fact, diffusing worry, fear and timidity atmosphere and distrusting to the governmental agencies in the society without huge covering the terrorism in the media doesn't appropriate affect on the public opinion. Here the article is examining empirically the result of the opinion poll institutes for analyzing what the terrorist causes affect the public opinion in the U.S. The media, in fact, is plying the main role especially in the crises for constructing the discursive order.The U.S. government was put obstacles on free flow of reaching the information of its citizens by stressing on the hegemonic approaching in information controlling, and use the censorships instruments in broadcasting news for enjoying the public supporting.
